Additional comments: The purpose of the annual program is to further the development of scientific investigators who are committed to problems related to oral and maxillofacial surgery, and to encourage promising lines of research and clinical investigation consistent with the research priorities established by the specialty. In 2016, the OMS Foundation will award twelve-month grants of up to $75,000. The funds are intended to be used for direct support of the proposed research (i.e., technical assistance and supplies).
