ICOMST 2023 – the International Congress of Meat Science and Technology, https://www.icomst2023.com, that will be held in Padova, Italy, on August 20 to 25.

The scope of ICoMST is to enhance the co-operation and exchange of scientific information between academic and industry-based researchers in the field of meat science and technology; the first Congress was organised in 1955 under name ‘European Meeting of Meat Research Workers’. The name was changed to International Congress of Meat Science and Technology in 1987.

The Congress has therefore a long tradition, and an established reputation: more information are available on the institutional website https://icomst.ie/

One important part of the Congress is the “PRE-CONGRESS PhD COURSE”, scheduled immediately prior to the start of the Congress (18 and 19 August). This Course, which belongs to the tradition of ICOMST Congresses, is intended to provide young Researchers with the opportunity of meeting and learning from international experts in the field, during an intense 2-days Course.

The program is being developed and we can provide with further information in the nearest future; there is no registration fee, but a selection will be done among those who will apply for the Course.

Please note that the Course registration will be funded and free of any expense.
