Additional comments: This FOA will support innovative exploratory/developmental investigations in primary immunodeficiency diseases focusing on ex vivo studies with human specimens and on studies with current or new animal models including novel clinical strategies for detecting, identifying the molecular basis of, or developing innovative therapies for, primary immunodeficiency diseases. Direct costs are limited to $275,000 over the two-year project period, with no more than $200,000 in direct costs allowed in any single year. Applicants may request direct costs in $25,000 modules.
