Hi all! I'm Lotte de Winde, born and raised in the Netherlands. After my PhD in Tumor Immunology, I successfully applied for a Rubicon postdoctoral fellowship from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research, and in May 2017 I started my post-doc in the Stromal Immunology Lab of Dr Sophie Acton at the MRC Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology at UCL, London, UK. I study how immune-fibroblastic stroma interactions in the lymph node change fibroblastic stroma function. More precisely, I study an abundant membrane protein on lymph node fibroblastic stroma and its interaction partners and how these protein complexes control downstream signalling.
Furthermore, I manage the travel grants on this platform, so please contact me when you have a question about it!
I am Vinodh (pronounced as vino - d), born and raised in the southern part of Indian subcontinent. I pursued my doctoral studies at Göttingen Graduate School of Neuroscience Biophysics and Molecular Biosciences in Germany. Since November 2016, I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Genes and Behaviour, Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry. I study how genes control every day processes such as daily rhythms in physiology and sleep.
I am interested in creating equitable infrastructure and resource for researchers to navigate the pressures imposed by current toxic academic culture. Please get in touch with me, if you have any questions on how we can enhance the experience of being an early career professional in academia and beyond.
Hello Lotte and Vinodh,
