Diatom Research and Young ISDR

    Hi all,

My name is Andrea Burfeid Castellanos. I am originally from Spain, but I am currently working part-time as a Biological Technical Assistant in Germany, at the Alfred-Wegener Institute. My background is in (freshwater benthic) diatom diversity and ecology, which were themes in my PhD thesis. In parallel to my current work, I am pursuing funding for several diatom themed projects: based on temporary rivers (benthic) and Antarctic oceans (planktonic and epiphytic). I am looking forward to using your platform for information on the best fitting funding.

I also would like to introduce Young ISDR (https://bit.ly/2rAgRNA), a ECR group of the International Society of Diatom Research for which I am an elected representative. @Admin I would love to link our (flimsy) funding page to your very professional website, and try to introduce people to your community, if it is allright with you. Maybe creating a bridge between the two organizations, who knows.

Thank you so much for the great work on this website! It is a clearly necessary tool for ECRs of the 21st century.

    Kudos.

    Cheers,

    Andrea

    Hi Andrea,

    Welcome to ECRcentral!

Please go ahead and add the Young ISDR initiative to our resources https://ecrcentral.org/resources/create

For the funding, I can see that added a link to our previous funding list, which is now part of ECRcentral. For funding which are currently not listed in ECRcentral website, you can add those funding opportunities to ECRcentral using this link https://ecrcentral.org/fundings/create

Thanks for your interest and we are looking forward to hear more about your contributions to ECR community.

    Best,

    Aziz
